Sorry, I have no time to update this blog because I'm too busy pleasing my customers. For further understanding I have provided a list said "customers";
1. Loyal, paying customers- yes, I do actually have some. They are people that have seen my "stuff", asked where the owner of "stuff" got it and wrote it down themselves and called me personally. It's hard to be one of these, but I do love them.
2. Loyal friends- I also receive payment from this group, usually in the form of fabric or favors, since I am a terrible business person and never really give them an amount. This group fulfills my selfish need to be reminded that I am a person with talent, and should be appreciated as such. I love this group.
3. Pouting teenager- I only have one of these, however this customer seems to demand the majority of my emotional time. Mostly because she is perfectly able to help in several capacities and simply chooses not to. She does however provide a colorful spectrum of emotions, on cue. All tailored to her specific need or want for the minute at hand. She alone fulfills the over-spoken-but-never-to-be-understated prophecy. . . "I hope you have a daughter just like you"! Which ironically MY mother never said. I think her words went more like- "I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy". Though small in number, large in labor, I love this group.
4. Boys ages 10 & 11- this is a rather unpredictable group. I'm never sure what I'm going to get, or what I'll be expected to give. Since I only have 5 more minutes, I'll leave it at that, and I love this groupl
5. Female Kindergartener- This group also contains only 1, and is best described in a nursery rhyme taught to me by my own mother so many years ago. It goes;
"There once was a little girl, who had a little curl, right down the middle of her forehead.
When she was good, she was very, very, good and when she was bad she was horrid."
6. The man- this is really not a group. This is just the guy that tells me how amazing I am, that my creations are masterpieces, my talents are endless, and abilities even yet undiscovered. And only once has he taken upon himself to remind me when it's time to stop buying supplies and start supplying the buyer. . . ok, maybe twice. He's my favorite customer.
